Ferraro's Fingerprinting Agency Inc. utilizes advanced Live Scan technology to electronically submit fingerprints to the RCMP for processing. In most cases, and provided there are no delays with RCMP processing, applicants can expect to receive their RCMP-certified criminal record check within approximately 12 business days by regular mail (please note that tracking is not available).
Results may be mailed directly to the applicant's home address or to an authorized third-party address, provided there is no match within the National Repository of Criminal Records.
If a match is identified in the criminal database, additional processing may be required by the RCMP. In these cases, processing times can range from approximately 5 to 120 business days before results are issued.
Biometrics are only provided by Service Canada upon receipt of a request letter.

Applicants must provide two (2) valid pieces of identification: a PRIMARY card and a SECONDARY card. Either two (2) primary cards or one (1) primary and one (1) secondary card will be accepted.
PRIMARY identification includes any government-issued card that contains the applicant's name, date of birth, signature, and photo.
The following IDs are accepted as PRIMARY identification:
Certified true copies are accepted, provided they are original certified true copies, not photocopies, and are valid.
Identification that will NOT be accepted includes non-government-issued cards such as Social Insurance Number (SIN) cards, credit/debit cards, gym membership cards, Costco cards, and Air Miles cards. Any other similar non-official or non-government-issued identification will not be accepted.
